- Win to USB ( a 3rd party software)
http://www.easyuefi.com/wintousb/
- Window 8.1 32bit/64bit ISO
- a empty External HDD/Pendrive ( recommended 16 GB+)
- a 3.0 USB cable if available. Which smoothen/ boost up window operating speed.
DO AT YOUR OWN RISK.
Installation steps:
1. Install Win to USB in any directory.
screenshot is not mine.
2. Backups all your important data from your external HDD/ Pendrive. It will wipe all out/format for clean install.
3. Click on Win to USB.exe, Run as administrator. Select your Window 8.1 ISO (recommended).

4. Select your available disk. ( Notice, the selected partition will be wipe. As non-selected will not.)
You will notice format NTFS and FAT32.
FAT32 is a format for pendrive ( usb flash drive), NTFS is a format for HDD commonly.

In my case, I select system partition on a 8GB partition and Boot partition on 16GB+.
So far, no problems.
5. Begin Installation.
6. After installation, close WinToUSB.
7. Insert your external HDD/pendrive in your new computer/ current computer.
Restart/Start your computer.
8. In booting screen ( Logo show screen), press F2/Del or F2+DEL commonly on every pc when the logo show up.
It will bring you up to booting selection.
Priorities:
Your ExternalHDD/Pendrive > HDD > DVDROM
Or
F8 in booting screen to select your external HDD/Pendrive
9. It then direct to your window installation screen, Good Luck.
Must know:
1. Pendrive will slow down your operating speed. Hang, response slow, not responding, crash may occurred.
2. Do not use too long, is still a external HDD.
3. Everytime you plug into a new Computer, it will ask for installation.
4. Remember the USB port, this portable Window will only work on the USB port that you installed in.
5. It still can act as a storage to other computer.
Revert back to normal external HDD/ Pendrive.
1. Plug it in another computer.
2. Format the Disk, if installed on 2 different partition. Format on those two then.
3. All set back to Default, then format.
4. Done.
Enjoys =).
